Our Mission

Threshold Advocacy Group empowers safe parents navigating the family court system by providing legal coaching, court navigation support, and child-centered advocacy. Our Approach

Our work is grounded in research, lived experience, and a practical understanding of how family court systems operate in real-world settings—not just in theory.

We recognize that many parents enter the system without clear guidance, often assuming that truth alone will be enough. In reality, outcomes are heavily influenced by how information is presented, documented, and aligned with legal standards. Our role is to help bridge that gap.

We focus on:

  • Preparation over promises
  • Strategy over reaction
  • Documentation over emotion
  • Child safety over assumptions

We also emphasize understanding patterns of behavior, including coercive control and post-separation abuse, which are often misunderstood or overlooked in traditional court processes.

Our approach is not about telling clients what they want to hear—it is about helping them understand how the system actually functions, so they can make informed decisions and advocate effectively for themselves and their children.

Our Impact

Threshold Advocacy Group is actively working to improve outcomes for families by; supporting parents through complex custody cases, providing accessible education and preparation tools, identifying patterns and gaps within the family court system, and collecting data to better understand how cases are handled over time. Our goal is not only to support individual families, but to contribute to broader awareness and long-term system reform.
